Govardhan Puja, the day when Lord Krishna lifted the Govardhan Hill, is celebrated on the next day of Diwali. Govardhan Hill is a sacred mountain in Vrindavan where Krishna and His cowherd friends performed several childhood pastimes.
We celebrates Govardhan Puja by offering prayers to Sri Govardhan. On this day, a hill made of rice, sweets and savories is prepared and offered to Sri Giriraj and subsequently distributed to everyone.
This year we are celebrating Govardhan Puja on 14th November, 2023. The program begins at 6:30pm.
- Abhishek and Kirtan
- Prasadam – Free vegetarian food
We invite you to take part in the festival by sponsoring the Annakuta festival to Sri Govardhan and receive the special blessings of Lord Krishna.
